Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Grand Island

This is the nicest Fairfield Inn I have ever stayed at, in every way. We needed to make an unplanned overnight stop in Grand Island to recover during a cross-country trip, and I researched options quite a bit to make sure we could rest well. The common areas were gorgeous. Every part of the hotel was clean and updated. The employees were all friendly and helpful, and I counted four different protein options at breakfast. The hotel room was clean and we appreciated the room option with two queen beds and an additional sofa bed, meaning my kids didn't have to share a bed. The pool and hot tub were both clean and in good working order. We were not disturbed during the night by noises from other guests. I am so used to checking in to hotel rooms and finding they have maybe two or three towels, no matter how many people the room is supposed to sleep, so we have to chase down more. This room actually had the correct number of bath towels. In addition, I'm used to sofa beds being a game of hide-and-seek to find the bedding, if there is any. Here, they told me at check-in (without my asking) that the sheets were already on the sofa bed, and exactly where to find the comforter and pillow. The mini market was well stocked. Truly no complaints, and this will be my go-to spot for recovering from cross-country drives.

This town is about the halfway point between Chicago and the Rockies, so it can be sold out late at night. Do yourself a favor and don’t wait until the last minute NOR try to save a few dollars and end up in the myriad of execrable dumps in the area. Just read the reviews for some of them. I had the same bad experiences you read in reviews at other hotels in Grand Island on previous stops overnight. You don’t wanna do that. The Fairfield is the best value at the price per night. It’s not 5 star but at about 3 it punches way above its weight class. No drama, just one of the best spots in town. Excellent staff, cleanest rooms and most comfy beds you can find. Breakfast is awesome, plus late 12pm checkouts. Spotless rooms and bathrooms in what seems like a very recent construction hotel. Can you nitpick? Yes, maybe, but you shouldn’t, and surely I’m not going to at this price point and for this quality and service. You get what you pay for OR LESS at the other lower-cost places, instead of MORE, keep this in mind when booking. You’ll be the unhappy and disgruntled reviewer there, instead of enjoying your stay here. Don’t be that reviewer, be the happy guest at Fairfield in GI NE. Thank me after. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Grand Island is a fantastic place to stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful, making the check-in and overall experience very pleasant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. One of the best parts is that parking is free, which makes it even more convenient. The location is great, and everything about the stay felt welcoming and well-maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable place to stay.

Super stay and great location off the freeway during our travel from West Coast to East Coast. Received a thank you post card from the staff following out stay. Pretty incredible and nice. Says something about Marriot and their outstanding team.

Very nice place to stay the staff was amazing and great us with a smile very talkative. Rooms are very clean. The breakfast bar is amazing too.

Clean room, nice staff, delicious breakfast. Hot tub was also nice. It’s a bit far from the highway. But was not crowded at all and better than anything else we saw here. Was a fair price as well.

Super easy check-in and really friendly staff. We had a comfortable room that was at the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was awesome. We would gladly stay at this location again. They also provided complimentary fountain drinks.
